Another of Leo Tooman's humorous stories about being a traffic cop back in the 70's....

Leo was in the Karapiro area when he got a call to check out a small turck which was reportedly weaving all over the road in the Karapiro Gorge.  Leo didn't have to look to hard to find the truck and pulled him over.

After having a long chat with the guy, Leo didn't think there was too much wrong with him.  He wasn't showing any signs of inebriation at all and spoke perfectly well.  Just before Leo was leaving,  for some reason he looked at the drivers feet.  He noticed his shoes were on the wrong feet....

After processing the driver for drink driving his reading was 286mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood (the maximum reading in those days was 100mg!).
