The Christmas lights at the Hamilton New Zealand Temple have been brightening up the holiday season since 1986.

Come and see the annual display of 100,000 Christmas lights at the New Zealand Temple.
Choir groups will be performing Tuesdays - Saturdays 13-24 December at 8:30pm .
Lights only will be on December 14,15, 21, 22, 25-31st. The lights come on at 9:15pm.
13 December 1986 was the first year we had Christmas lights at the New Zealand Temple.
Just 4 trees were lit in the corner of the Temple grounds by Tuhikaramea Road.
There were about 12,000 lights - only white. These had been donated by Glen L. Rudd's son's ward in the U.S.
Glen Rudd was the President of the New Zealand temple at the time.
