Waikato Children's Literacy Charitable Trust, needs financial funding, to develop a much needed online teaching website interactive for all children aged 5 to 12 years.The programme is The Ray Of Hope with lessons in Literacy and numeracy downloaded on to apps and can be used from any device laptop, cellphone tablet, computer etc.The lessons will be produced in English and Te Reo firstly, and cover all levels from year one level one right through.They will be to the Ministry of Education standards and requirements. The Waikato Childrens Charitable Trust is a reg not for profit charity in Hamilton, and needs financial sponsorship and donations to produce a wide range of lessons,for the online teaching interactive website known as The Ray of Hope ,as Education is the greatest gift we can give these children today, to stand them in good stead for their future. in reading writing spelling basic comprehension,and maths   with interactive components for word games, puzzles, spelling games, to make learning more fun and inspiring for all young children of any race, including all special needs children as well

ON Friday night 26th of August, the charity is hosting a big gala dinner event , from 6.30pm to 9.30pm. Venue the Hillcrest Baptist Church Auditorium, entry fee is only $5.00 per person, children up to ten years free entry, dinner adults per person is $10.00, childrens meals per child is only $5.00. There will be a band with Molly G Paige as my guest artist and her rising stars and any one else who wnats to sing bring chord charts thank you. There will be stalls, raffles and a charity auction also. Cheeko the clown will be there performing too, plus a fantastic face painter etc. lots of community involvement from various groups.

The waikato Childrens Literacy Charitable Trust is hosting a big family fundraising event on Sunday 22nd March 2015.

Admission is free, venue is the  Elliot Park field 2 at the Western Community Centre grounds in Hyde Avenue in Nawton.

Time is from 9.30am to 2.30pm, people from other districts welcome also.

There will be a classic car display, rock and roll dress costume competition for ladies, men, girls, boys, bouncy castle, face painters, ice cream vendor, balloon animals , and lots of stalls selling their goods.

If you would like to bcome a sponsor for prizes for raffles, goody bags or a cash donations towards the event please contact Paula Bisphan Manager asap , or if you would like to hire a stall to sell goods they cost $20.00 each stall.
