Aldershot Place was named in 1997 by Thornton Estates Ltd., the developer in the Hamilton, New Zealand suburb of Nawton.

Aldershot Place was named in 1997 by Thornton Estates Ltd., the developer  in the Hamilton, New Zealand suburb of Nawton.  The developer's intention was to give the area a classical English theme, hence the streets were given English place names. (HCL)
