Alconbury Drive was named in 1999 by Grosvenor Park Ltd., a developer in the Hamilton, New Zealand suburb of Rototuna.

Alconbury Drive was named in 1999 by Grosvenor Park Ltd., a developer in the Hamilton, New Zealand suburb of Rototuna.  It was the developers intention to give the area a classical English theme, hence the English place names used for street names.  The same them was used in the previous stages (1-7) of the Grosvenor Park development.   (HCL)
