Yorkshire Road was named after Yorkshire County in England.

Yorkshire Road

Yorkshire Road runs between Nevada Road and Southsea Crescent in the Hamilton suburb of Silverdale. It was named Yorkshire because this was the home county of Mrs Joan Baron, wife of T. P. Baron, the owner of Silverdale Farms Ltd.
