Pinfold Avenue was named after Mr F.D. Pinfold, a former mayor of Hamilton.

Pinfold Avenue is located in the Hamilton, New Zealand suburb of Hamilton East.  It was named in 1950 by the Housing Corporation and Hamilton City Council, the owners/developers of the property.  They named it after Mr Francis Dewsbury Pinfold, mayor of Hamilton (1931-33) and member of Hamilton City Council.  (HCC) (HCL) (Lands & Surveys)
