Philip Street is located in the Hamilton, New Zealand suburb of Beerescourt.  It was named in 1951 by the Housing Corporation and Hamilton City Council, the owners/developers of the property.  They named the streets in the area with a "royal" theme.  Philip Street was named after Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.  (HCC) (HCL) (Lands & Surveys)
