Northview Lane was probably named for its good northerly view.

Northview Lane is located in the Hamilton, New Zealand suburb of Nawton.  It was named in 1975 by A.N. Ferguson and I.W. Walker, the owners of the property.  There is no documentary evidence to indicate why they named this street Northview Lane, but it was probably because of the northerly view of the property.  (HCC) (HCL) (Lands & Surveys)
