Newall Street was named after the former Governor-General of New Zealand, Sir Cyril Louis Norton Newall.

Newall Street is located in the Hamilton, New Zealand suburb of Hamilton East.  It was named in 1945 by Hamilton City Council, the owner of the property.  They named Newall Street after the Governor-General of New Zealand, Sir Cyril Louis Norton Newall.  (HCC) (HCL) (Lands & Surveys)
