Gazeley Avenue was named after a horse.

Gazeley Avenue is located in the Hamilton, New Zealand suburb of Silverdale.  It was named in 1963 G.J. Carrington, the owner of the property.  Mr Carrington was a horse breeder and named the street after one of his studs.  (HCC) (HCL) (Lands & Surveys)
